Scholar was a good hamster, he always ate his pellets and drank from his waterbottle. Like a good little critter he slept during the day, and came out to play at night. He loved his wheel, he would run in one direction and then suddenly turn around and run the other way, just for fun. He may now have always been the cleanest one, since he seemed to enjoy peeing where he slept, but he was smart one, and there have been many well known geniuses who were not too keen on cleanliness, he was just another. Never one to bite, Scholar would take being handled like a pro, content to simply walk accross my hand. However a little bit of a rebel, he would take the opportunity to explore his surroundings more closly if given the chance. I will never forget the night i came downstairs and found him missing from his cage, only to hear him not too much later, scurrying around my room. He was a little pest to catch, but looking back on it now, he was simply being curious and would let nothing stand in his way. Oh Scholar, i hope you have fun in Hamster Heaven, where there are always warm fuzzy places to sleep, and the sun doesnt shine too bright, where the water is cool and fresh and seeds, fruits and veggies are never too far from reach. I wish you happiness, and although your body now resides at petcetera probably so that they can use it as inventory due to the refund i asked for, may your soul always rest in peace.
